Visual Merchandising Specialist

A beautiful garden centre in the heart of North London is seeking a talented Visual Merchandising Specialist to join their vibrant team.

The role

Your key responsibilities:

• Attend various trade shows to help decide on products we stock within the garden centre.
• Design and maintain appealing displays of garden centre products, including giftware, plants, and gardening supplies.
• Ensure all products are accurately labelled and priced.
• Assist customers in selecting and purchasing items, offering detailed information on product features and benefits.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels.
• Maintain a clean and organised garden centre, including tasks such as sweeping and watering plants.
• Collaborate with team members to create engaging displays and promotional materials.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

How you’ll dazzle us

We are looking for an individual with visual merchandising experience, particularly within a garden centre environment, however a background in other retail sectors will also be considered. A genuine passion for plants and gardening, coupled with a solid background in retail will make you a great fit for this role. We value experience that brings a level of confidence and autonomy to the position.

A strong knowledge of Christmas displays, plants, flowers, and gardening supplies is a significant advantage. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful manner. You are detail-oriented and able to prioritise tasks effectively. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential.
