Makeup
Makeup skills are essential for these roles, but formal experience or qualifications aren’t necessary. If you’ve learnt everything you know from YouTube, that’s fine, as long as you’re good at what you do and have lots of useful knowledge to pass on to customers. We’ll need to know you know how to match foundation, apply eye makeup, understand the best colours that work with skin tone etc and be comfortable applying makeup on other people.
Our clients tend to fall into one of two categories: the playful, colourful brands such as Mac and Bobbi Brown; and the classic, sophisticated brands such as Chanel, Dior and YSL. We are looking for people with different skills and distinct personalities for the different brands. We’re not expecting candidates to suit both types of fragrance house, and will only place people who suit the brand best.
Our temporary makeup jobs are great if you need to earn money while you’re working towards another career, maybe as a makeup artist, actor, dancer or other performer where you will already have a good knowledge of applying makeup.
