Artisan People are a boutique recruitment agency specialising in temporary staff for the cultural and heritage sector.

We are looking for a Recruitment Resourcer to join our Museums & Galleries Team.

This role will focus on support for the existing team by assisting with department operations in our Central London office, both in the recruitment of new candidates, and the placing of existing temps into temporary roles. Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Placing adverts online

  • Screening CVs from applicants

  • Conducting telephone interviews

  • Booking face-to-face interviews

  • Client support via phone and email

  • Point of contact for temp workers

  • General desk admin and data entry, both digital and paper-based

  • ‘On duty’ responsibilities (see below)

This role would be highly suitable for applicants wanting to gain experience in recruitment, as well as looking for exposure to culture, heritage and tourism sectors. We’re looking for an energetic, focused and driven individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills – a fast and dynamic learner who will be able to adapt to and integrate with this busy and swiftly expanding department. Excellent computer skills are also essential for this role.

Job specifics:

  • Salary of £21,000

  • Full time (Mon-Fri, 0900-1700)

  • Every third weekend ‘on duty’ (designated client and temp support); paid overtime working from home

  • Permanent contract (initial three-month probationary period)
