Artisan People are recruiting for part time Membership Recruiters at a world renowned national museum in central London. The museum has a superb reputation for representing culture and its staff facilitate the presentation of its collection to as wide audience as possible.
We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing people who are keen to interact with visitors and have a strong interest in working in a museum environment. You will be promoting memberships and other promotional packages at the Members Desk Information point and hosting within the Members Room and giving outstanding service and having an in-depth knowledge of the Membership packages as well as the museums wider offerings. There are also administration duties, including digitally processing memberships using bespoke membership software. We need someone who can give availability for both weekend days most weeks and some evenings.
Successful candidates must have:-
Excellent customer service and promotional/sales experience
Fluency in spoken English
Confident and effective communicator with diverse groups of visitors (2nd language advantageous)
A positive and proactive approach to work
Excellent presentation standards
Good computer and database skills
An interest in art and history
Desirable experience favoured:-
Experience of visitor fundraising or membership sales in a museum or experience of charity street fundraising
Interviews with Artisan People in October
You must be available for an interview at the museum w/c 12th November
Start date in November
Pay rate: £9.50ph
