As a global luxury skincare and beauty brand, this Central London based business has a fan base of celebrities and consumers alike. Reporting to the Operations Director, the successful candidate will have overall responsibility for leading, motivating and training the Supply Chain Team to ensure product supply supports the sales and growth targets.
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for ensuring all systems and processes are managed effectively by evaluating, auditing and developing them so that they are always up to date and as efficient as possible.
By ensuring that the right amount of product is available at the right time, the business will always have the inventory required to fulfill demand at the same time as minimising cash flow impacts. This includes managing the purchasing, transport, warehousing and distribution aspects of the supply chain.
With previous supply chain management experience (from order placement to receipt of goods), you have a proven track record of ensuring the delivery of product to specification, in full and on time – ideally within the beauty or skincare industry (but not essential).
As a skilled negotiator, you have demonstrable experience of collaborating with suppliers, sales teams and factories alike and be adept at developing excellent, mutually beneficial relationships.
You have a keen eye for detail, be KPI driven and be an effective communicator who knows how to develop both people and processes in order to achieve maximum results.
A genuine ‘people-person’, you have well-established management skills and are able to demonstrate how you’ll inspire your team of two direct reports.
