Sales Specialist, Wine & Spirits, Full Time: EDINBURGH AIRPORT

Selling wine and spirits requires a special skill set, particularly on the busy sales floor of World of Duty Free at Edinburgh Airport

This is an amazing opportunity for a Full Time Wine & Spirits Sales Specialist. Experience in the industry is not essential, but having enough knowledge of wines and spirits to make great recommendations and delight your customers is.

The role

As a Wine and Spirits Sales Advisor you will be willing to learn more about the wines and spirits on sale. You also have a passion for exceptional customer service and reaching sales targets.

To work at the Airport you must have the right to work in the UK. You must be 18+ years, not have been abroad for longer than 6 months, and be able to provide a full 5-year work/education history in the UK.

This position is full time and 8 hour shifts are on offer between 5am and 10pm. You will receive weekly pay as well as holiday pay and staff discount. You will be provided with ongoing brand and sales training.

How you’ll dazzle us

We are looking for someone with a brilliant personality and fantastic communication skills. The perfect candidate for this role is someone chatty and friendly with bundles of enthusiasm and a passion for the role. You’ll be reliable, punctual and immaculately presented.

One year of retail experience is required for this role. Experience in the drinks industry is not essential (but would be a bonus).

Ideally, you’ll live a reasonable travel distance to the Airport.
