With overall responsibility for product compliance review of both EPD and NPD, you will be ensuring all products are in line with company policies and territories distributed. This will include the creation and updating of full PIF, CPNP and Health Canada notifications and maintenance of raw material and fragrance libraries, active TSDS/MSDS and manufacturing methods etc.
Liaising with external testing houses and suppliers on relevant product testing, audit documentation and manufacturing procedures you will work in conjunction with guidelines established by your line manager. You will also advise the Marketing Department on claims acceptability, contribute to artwork and INCI approval and create and maintain internal technical files / dossiers for product registrations and retailer setup.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of regulatory strategies to enable successful registration in global markets and assist in the management of complaints relating to product conformity.
We’re looking for someone with a background in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences (or related discipline) who is interested in cosmetic ingredients and product development.
With 4 years’ plus experience in a similar role, you’ll demonstrate a strong awareness of Global Cosmetic Regulations (Cosmetovigilance specifically UK/EU, USA, ASEAN, Canada and Australia) and have additional experience within REACH and CLP compliance.
You’ll also need to show us you have excellent attention to detail and are fully proficient in Microsoft programs.
