Regional Sales Manager

Do you have a wealth of experience in retail or store management? A track record of commercial success in sales? Do you inspire and get the best out of others? The role

This role entails growing sales, strong leadership of a team, supporting our team and the day to day operations of our busy stores. We’re looking for someone with bags of initiative who can hit the ground running and make the role their own. Previous experience in the world of fragrance or beauty is a plus, but not essential.

You will be required to coordinate with store managers, mentoring and motivating them in order to drive the business forward. This will be achieved through store and site visits to assess the conditions and recommend changes.

In addition you will undertake periodic performance evaluations to ensure their team is on the right path to achieving their goals. It will be your responsibility to make sure all stores within your region are performing to a high standard with respect to both sales and service. This will be in line with the company policy of ensuring that all stores are retail centres of excellence.

How you’ll dazzle us

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned retailer with at least five years’ experience as well as five years’ experience in Management, Sales and Business Development.

As a senior manager you will be fluent in using and implementing the following as an intrinsic part of the sales and management process:

  • Driving sales through ATV and UPT
  • Conversion
  • SMART objectives
  • Conducting staff assessments and appraisals
  • Training and development of management and staff
  • Delivering new store openings on time
  • This role also requires the successful candidate to travel frequently and you will therefore be away from home. This may be for a short period of time such as an overnight visit, or a longer duration, such as five working days or more, depending on the location or the project requirements.
