Luxury Retail Team Leader

A stunning luxury retail brand is seeking a passionate and skilled Team Leader to join their boutique team in Knightsbridge. This is a full time, temp to perm role.

The role

As Team Leader, you will be leading a small team to deliver an exceptional customer experience, drive sales, and maintain the highest standards of store operations.

Key responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Development

  • Lead and inspire a team of four associates to achieve sales targets.
  • Provide ongoing training and coaching to team members.

Customer Experience and Brand’s Selling Ceremony

  • Ensure the consistent implementation of the selling ceremony.
  • Maintain the highest level of customer service and luxury experience.

Boutique Operations

  • Oversee all aspects of boutique operations.
  • Coordinate with the stock team to manage inventory levels and ensure compliance with operational policies and health and safety regulations.

Relationship Building and Partnership Development

  • Develop and nurture strong partnerships with in-store brand partners and maintain relationships with personal shoppers.
  • Leverage partnerships to create unique in-store experiences and events.

Performance Management and Reporting

  • Track boutique performance against sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyse sales data.

Opening and Closing Duties

  • Responsible for the secure opening and closing of the boutique.
  • Perform accurate daily cash reconciliations and resolve any issues.

How you’ll dazzle us

Our ideal candidate has previous experience in a luxury retail environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or team leader role. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop a small team.You will also need knowledge of the luxury spirits market.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional customer service is necessary. You are highly organised with strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail. Experience in implementing and following structured sales processes, such as the brand’s selling ceremony. Proven experience in developing partnerships and building relationships with brand partners and personal shoppers is required.
