International Business Development Assistant Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially driven International Business Development Assistant Manager to join the expanding team of a British organic skincare and cosmetics manufacturer. This is a hybrid role, with 2 days based in the London office and 3 days from home.

Your role

As International Business Development Assistant Manager, your priorities are to grow the brands reach within the wholesale / distribution channel within selected international territories. To excel at this you will need to pro-actively find new revenue opportunities and market to expand into whilst nurturing the relationships with existing wholesale partners.

Your responsibilities

As International Business Development Assistant Manager you will be accountable for finding new accounts and distributors in addition to nurturing current relationships. You will be be responsible for for the P&L of each account in your territories and for achieving sales and profitability targets. In addition you will set margins, negotiate contracts (in conjunction with the Sales Director) and liaise with the marketing team to ensure the two departments work seamlessly together.

Effectively managing your allocated client base, you will keep all records up to date, ensure accounts trade within their credit terms and resolve any account queries.

You will analyse sales data and create detailed action plans based on the results in addition to presenting to prospective and current customers.

From time to time you will be involved in in-store activities and take part in new product launches.

Your skills and experience

With 2 years+ relevant experience, you will need to be a self starter who can hit the ground running in your new role. You will already have established contacts with either UK and/or international distributors within the Beauty or Skincare Industry and be hungry to bring in new business.

As a great communicator and true ‘people person’ you will have excellent negotiation skills and have a love of data

Language skills would be a distinct advantage.
