Head of Sales



£60k - £65k

Fantastic opportunity for a dynamic Head of Sales with experience in B2B sales to join a cutting-edge, high -tech and innovation brand that works within the beauty markets with digital product sampling and online marketing.

This new and highly innovative company is growing at a fast rate and is looking for a Head of Sales to join the leadership team, to help continue the successful brand growth development. Successful candidates will have a proven sales record of meeting or exceeding targets, ideally from the health and beauty sector. The ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organisation including executive and stakeholders is also important. Fluent French is also highly desirable but not essential. The role comes with a competitive salary and company benefits including stock options. This is a great opportunity for a forward thinking senior sales person who loves the Beauty Industry.

As the leader of the Sales function, you will be responsible for identifying and approaching new customers, building an ongoing customer pipeline, achieving annual sales targets, and expanding the sales team. We offer a diverse, welcoming, and flexible work environment, where we offer our senior hires the ability to build their own teams.

To succeed in this role you will need to demonstrate:

  • Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets
  • Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing director
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent

Your responsibilities

  • Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts
  • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
  • Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
