This is a brilliant opportunity to join a luxury beauty distributor that owns four premium skincare brands. The company sells products in Harrods, Selfridges and Harvey Nichols, as well as having its own stand-alone site in Central London. The company is looking for a new General Manager based in London.
As General Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business in order to make sure the business runs in accordance with the Managing Director’s goals and vision. You will be responsible for overseeing wholesale distribution, clinic sales and e-Commerce performance.
You will manage all staff, with direct reports including the marketing manager, e-Commerce manager, customer service manager and trainer (who oversees the sales team). You will be responsible for driving performance, setting budgets and inspiring the team to exceed targets.
You’ll develop and maintain business plans, managing the budget and overseeing all aspects of business operations. You will develop the long term strategic goals and plan, assisting with hiring, training and performance management. You will also carry out B2B business development duties and general account management.
The perfect candidate will be a natural leader with significant experience in management. You’ll have a minimum of 5 years of luxury retail experience, ideally within the beauty sector.
An analytical thinker and good problem solver, you’ll be a fantastic communicator and natural leader. You’ll be financially and commercially minded and be able to make decisions based on data analysis, prioritising based on the needs of the business.
