General Manager at an Independent Record Store & Events Venue

Artisan People are working with a Independent Record Store & Events Venue to recruit a General Manager as a permanent role.

This is a full-time role with a competitive salary between £40k-50k per year (based on experience).

The candidate is expected to work a variety of shift patterns including evenings, late nights, weekends and public holidays to ensure the needs of the business are met.

The General Manger plays a central role in continuing to grow and build on the success of the company, while delivering a truly inspiring in store experience to their customers. The successful candidate will be passionate and knowledgeable about music across a classic black catalogue as well as contemporary and new acts and will have a working knowledge of a wide range of specialist genres.

This role will require someone who has demonstrated event/retail management experience in a similar role in their previous working history. Candidates will need to be excellent at people management and have developed organisation skills.
