General Manager




Up to £45k pro-rata

We are on the hunt for a highly organised and dynamic General Manager to join a world-famous cultural venue in Central London.

The role

As General Manager, you will manage the day-to-day administrative, HR, financial and operational aspects of the building. You will oversee event planning, management and visitor experience.

You will manage operational budgets and be responsible for monthly and annual account management. You’ll also take an overview of all contractual and legal matters including the employment of freelancers.

How you’ll dazzle us

The ideal candidate is someone with a proven track record in operational management. You’ll have significant experience of creating systems and processes to support live events, project work and facilities management. You will be excellent at budget management and financial planning.

You will need to be highly organised with strong administrative, analytical and project management skills. You’ll be able to work with data and financial information to develop effective reporting. Above all, you’ll need to be a confident, team player with the ability to work well under pressure.
