Gallery Manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive team leader to become a Gallery Manager for a Fine Art Gallery based in York.

The Role

As Gallery Manager, you’ll provide an elite standard of customer service to all clients. You’ll drive the gallery to exceed its sales targets and manage the day-to-day running of the gallery. This will include organising staff rotas, liaising with the operations team, managing artwork and coordinating gallery events.

You’ll build great relationships with clients and show your passion, knowledge and articulation for the artwork. You’ll inspire your team, supporting them in achieving their sales targets and developing their career.

How you’ll dazzle us

Our client is looking for a brilliant communicator with management experience and an extensive track record within the Fine Arts or Luxury Sales industry. You’ll have proven experience of exceeding sales targets and motivating your staff to deliver the highest standards of customer service.

The perfect candidate is someone positive and confident, who is great at motivating and supporting staff to reach their potential. You’ll need to be a customer service superstar with great relationship building skills and a true passion for luxury art.

History of Art or a Fine Art Degree is highly desirable however not essential.
