We’re looking for a confident and experienced individual to join the team at a world-famous London Museum as an Exhibitions Installation and Logistics Supervisor. This is a senior role.
As Exhibitions Installation and Logistics Supervisor you will need to have experience in multiple areas including: overseeing the construction phases of exhibitions and managing allocated build phase resources. You will plan and deliver complex and demanding projects in good time and to high standards.
You will oversee site management including the coordination of construction, contractors, staff operations and a breadth of activity that could conflict/clash.
You will be required to regularly start work on site from 6am to meet deliveries and contractors (with c.2pm finish) as well as working some evenings and weekends on occasion.
The ideal candidate is someone with a true passion for natural history. You will have the ability to read and understand design and construction drawings as well as the confidence to communicate effectively at all levels, with experience of influencing and negotiating.
You will also demonstrate the ability to carry out some physical work like moving trolleys, stepladders, screens etc. A forklift licence is desirable however not essential.
It is essential that you are IOSH and IPAF qualified along with an excellent understanding of CDM.
