Ecommerce Manager

An award-winning specialist fragrance brand is looking for an ambitious Ecommerce Manager to join the fast-growing beauty industry. The role is based in Central London and offers the option of some hybrid working near Aldgate East.

The role

As Ecommerce Manager, you will own the day-to-day management of company websites and associated platforms and systems. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and working collaboratively with the Operations and Sales teams, you will drive the strategy for ecommerce growth across all key regions. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the ecommerce channel in-line with company objectives and sales targets
  • Devising merchandising strategies for new and existing SKUs using a data-driven approach
  • Contributing to new product launches, creating PDPs and landing pages
  • Working collaboratively with the Digital Designer and Social Media Manager to create dynamic, engaging and effective digital marketing campaigns
  • Conducting regular market research, audience surveys and competitor analysis
  • Producing weekly sales and website performance reports in accordance with department WOW
  • Owning the digital dashboard, combining analytics reports from multiple sources (GTM, Search Console, Klaviyo, etc.)
  • Liaising with the Operations + Supply team to manage pricing and inventory
  • General website maintenance and optimisations
  • Using analytics to understand customer journeys to optimise sales, measure performance and define strategy
  • Ensuring the website is kept up-to-date

How you’ll dazzle us

The ideal candidate will have a beauty background in ecommerce, with a strong aptitude for analytics, project management and campaign strategy. The role requires you to have good leadership skills to manage internal teams, external agencies and suppliers.

You are required to have 3+ years’ experience in a similar role with excellent knowledge of stock inventory management, Shopify Plus and other ecommerce platforms.

Technical skills required include Google Universal Analytics and GA4, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. You must have strong copywriting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to forecast sales and manage budgets.

An understanding of SEO practices, paid acquisition channels and email and CRM experience is desirable.
