We are recruiting for a Duty Manager for a brand new attraction that’s just opened in central London which blends art with technology and offers guests a memorable, immersive experience.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work as part of a team of highly motivated Duty Managers and be responsible for up to 14 front of house and gallery personnel at any one time.
Key areas of responsibility include pre-opening and closing checks, risk assessments and operational compliance, crowd management, cost control and daily reporting. From a people management perspective you will leading and training your team to ensure that they provide guests with an outstanding visitor experience.
The attraction is open seven days a week, therefore the successful candidate will work on a shift basis alongside the other Duty Managers to ensure the full week is covered.
With 3-5 years visitor attraction or gallery/museum experience in a similar role, you’ll ideally be IOSH H&S accredited with bags of passion for the arts sector.
Your extensive experience of staff rostering, venue ticketing and access control systems will be paramount as will your people development and team training skills.
As an excellent communicator who is fluent in English (written and oral), you will need to demonstrate outstanding problem solving skills and the ability to shine within a Management team framework.
Candidates which also have FM hard and soft services, retail shop management and H&S management skills will be considered a priority.
