Counter Manager

A luxury French beauty brand is on the hunt for a dedicated Counter Manager to be based in Selfridges, London.

The role

As a Counter Manager, you will actively drive and increase your business, encouraging all beauty consultants to achieve their sales targets. By leading and coaching your team, you will ensure that all clients receive a personalised luxury service.

An overview of your responsibilities:

General

  • Prepare the team’s work schedules.
  • Ensure the follow up of cash registers and traffic statistics.
  • Manage NSV budgets, order within time limits, and complete administrative tasks.
  • Develop clientele, recruit and retain customers, and create events to promote the brand.
  • Build relationships with businesses in the area to increase brand awareness.
  • Submit monthly reports to the head office.

Sales

  • Lead and coach the team to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Proactively sell products and provide excellent customer service.
  • Link-sell across product categories to increase sales.
  • Prepare and organise monthly activities with approval.
  • Book treatment room appointments and prepare the rooms.
  • Complete all administrative tasks accurately and timely.

Management

  • Proactively manage team members, identify coaching opportunities, and support with training.
  • Manage stock levels in partnership with the Line Manager.
  • Grow business through events, appointments, and return bookings.

Service

  • Be knowledgeable about all products and recommend them to clients.
  • Demonstrate products through consultations, makeovers, and hair product application.
  • Recruit new customers and develop relationships with them to gain loyalty.
  • Capture all customers on the database following GDPR guidelines.
  • Educate clients on the products and the brand.
