A luxury world renowned beauty company is on the hunt for a dedicated Counter Manager for its new skincare brand, to be based in London.
The role
As a Counter Manager, you will actively drive and increase your business, encouraging all beauty consultants to achieve their sales targets. By leading and coaching your team, you will ensure that all clients receive a personalised luxury service.
An overview of your responsibilities:
General
- To monitor stock levels and report any issues to the Line Manager
- To participate in merchandise management and ensure that it is in line with corporate guidelines
- Manage NSV budgets and ordering within time limits
- To conduct all assigned operational and administrative tasks including rotas and sickness reporting
- To be a brand ambassador and representative at all times
- To build relationships with store management and adhere to all store policies and procedures
- To carry out any additional duties as directed by the management team
Sales
- To lead and coach your team to ensure all team members achieve or exceed sales targets, as set by your Line Manager
- Managing NSV budgets and ordering within time limits
- To proactively sell the brand’s products and provide a luxury standard of service to customers
- To proactively link sell across product categories, to increase average pound sale (A£S) and average unit sale (AUS)
- Preparing and organising activity on counter monthly with Area Manager approval
- Booking Beauty Room events
- All admin to be completed accurately off or on counter and in a timely manner
- Consistently exercising your storytelling skills through educating your clients to the brand’s heritage and values
- To be able to identify and depict each client’s intent behind their visit and maximise all sales opportunities
Management
- Proactively manage team members, identify coaching opportunities, and support with training
- Manage stock levels in partnership with the Line Manager
- Grow business through events, appointments, and return bookings
Service
- Be knowledgeable about all brand products and recommend them to clients
- Demonstrate products through consultations, makeovers, and hair product application
- Recruit new customers and develop relationships with them to gain loyalty
- Capture all customers on the database following GDPR guidelines
- Educate clients on the products and the brand
