A multi-award winning technology manufacturer is searching for a B2B Business Development Manager.

The role

An overview of your responsibilities:

  • Hit the ground running, generating sales opportunities by tapping into existing relationships.
  • Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, clients and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and develop customised solutions.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle (virtually and in person): lead generation, prospecting, negotiation, submitting proposals/tenders, and closing deals via different sales and marketing channels.
  • Be the Company’s IoT market expert.
  • Identify new sales opportunities, and proactively develop new relationships across the building services industry.
  • Consult with customers, commercial building owners, facilities management operators, specifiers, and contractors to bring the company’s revolutionary IoT hand hygiene solutions to market.
  • Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts to senior management regarding sales opportunities.
  • Stay ahead by staying on top of industry trends and analytics.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure they are communicated and implemented within the team.
  • Possess a solid understanding of the company’s products, the competition in the industry and positioning.
  • Review all company technical sales manuals and manage and train a business development team.
  • Collaborating with design and sales teams to ensure that the requirements are met.

How you’ll dazzle us

We are searching for a B2B sales professional with 7-10 years of business development experience. You should be confident in selling IoT/SaaS solutions to the building services industry (IT) and have proven examples of delivering client value. You should be able to work independently, prioritise tasks, and have excellent communication and presentation skills.

Experience with writing technical proposals, building partnerships, and carrying out sales techniques will be needed. As a goal-oriented team player, you’re able to share your understanding of ICT (including AI, big data, and security).
