This is an exciting and unique opportunity to work for St Martin in the Fields in London as a Box Office Manager.
St Martin’s has around 380 concerts per year and is well-known for offering a platform for talented musicians at the beginning of their careers as well as hosting some of the finest ensembles, choirs and soloists in Britain, plus weekly Jazz and live music nights.
Your main responsibility will be managing the Box Office, overseeing the set-up of concerts and events and the sale of tickets. You will provide the highest levels of customer service, managing correspondence and in person queries. As the first point of contact for many visitors to St Martin’s, you’ll have a strong understanding of all the activities on site.
You’ll analyse box office data and provide sales insights, as well as liaising with concert promoters and providing guidance on pricing. In addition, you’ll manage the Box Office team, organising training and rotas and ensuring that all staff are motivated and happy.
We are looking for a proactive and flexible individual with experience of supervising a Box Office or other ticketing venue. The perfect candidate for this role is highly organised with fantastic timekeeping and communication skills. A customer service superstar, you will be willing to go the extra mile to make a visitor smile and will have a sound knowledge of the Microsoft Suite.
If you have a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude and lots of enthusiasm, you could be the person we’re after. Previous experience using the Spektrix Box Office system is desirable but not essential.
