Beauty Buyer

Our client in the beauty industry is looking for an ambitious Beauty Buyer to deliver on their commitment to reinvent retail. The role will be based in Dublin with a relocation package offered and other exciting benefits.

The role

As a Beauty Buyer, you will be up to speed on seasonal trends and have the ability to curate the very best luxury brands. This is an opportunity for an experienced Buyer with a genuine passion for all things beauty. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Develop and implement a solid commercial and creative strategy
• Lead and inspire Buying teams to ensure productivity and development
• Drive sales and profit through sound commercial decisions
• Source new products and brands to stay ahead of the competition
• Manage and build commercial relationships with suppliers
• Oversee all stock-related data and identify areas for improvement
• Communicate and collaborate with other departments to ensure the success of the beauty category

How you’ll dazzle

The ideal candidate is a passionate Buyer with extensive experience in the Beauty area and a great relationship-builder. As a curious individual and critical thinker, you will look beyond the obvious to identify opportunities and make sound decisions and strategic moves for the business.

You are required to be commercially focused, have experience with budgets and the ability to achieve revenue growth. An experienced people manager, you’ll be able to lead, train and develop a Buying team. You need excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
