Assistant Store Manager

A wellness fragrance and skincare brand is looking for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to work alongside the Store Manager in their Bicester Village store.

The role

With support from your Store Manager, you will help to oversee a variety of aspects of your store, from team management and coaching to driving sales and service.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Be responsible for the day to day running of a standalone store and team
• Drive forward sales, KPIs and company objectives
• Assist the Store Manager with payroll, rotas, stocktakes, and reports
• Give insight to support the Store Manager’s quarterly business plans and help develop training plans
• Assist the Store Manager with targets, payroll, rotas, stocktakes, weekly/monthly reports, stock orders
• Work closely with cross functional teams
• Weekly creation of in store content for online/social platforms
• Create and drive an unforgettable customer experience in store to inspire wellbeing
• Lead by example and support your team with daily tasks
• Ensure the highest standards of housekeeping, cleanliness and visual merchandising are upheld
• Help to create an Annual Events Plan supporting monthly in store and field events to promote the brand whilst working with partnering businesses/people
• Develop and mentor a team with a focus on training, education, and development
• Take responsibility for any Health & Safety issues that arise and ensure the correct action is taken
• Any other reasonable duties as requested by your Line Manager

How you’ll dazzle us

We are seeking a passionate and driven leader to help manage our standalone store. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years managing a similar retail environment, preferably within the health and beauty industry. You’ll possess a strong desire to coach and develop your team, fostering a positive and supportive work environment. Proficiency in MS Office and Excel is a must, along with excellent communication skills.

As a team player with a can-do attitude, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintaining impeccable standards and working effectively across departments. The ability to work retail hours, including weekends and evenings, is essential. A self-motivator with a keen eye for detail, you’ll bring a genuine passion for the brand and the beauty/wellness industry.
