Assistant Counter Manager

We are seeking a dynamic Fragrance Assistant Counter Manager to join the Luxury Fragrance Counter, based in a prestigious department store in Knightsbridge.

The role

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills to engage with a diverse customer base. You will be working with a stunning French brand, a pioneering perfume house and a trailblazer in the art of living through the senses.

Your key responsibilities:

• Assist the Counter Manager in daily operations and ensure the counter meets sales goals
• Communicate effectively with customers, providing product information and assistance
• Utilise upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities
• Maintain an organised store layout and oversee stock replenishment
• Conduct staff training on product knowledge and customer service standards
• Offer full support to the Counter Manager

You’ll be a quick learner who thrives on building strong relationships with customers and colleagues. You will need to have prior luxury retail management experience, excellent organisational and communication skills, and a drive to upsell products and maximise sales.

You must have strong time management, basic maths for handling cash and inventory, and professional phone etiquette to deliver outstanding customer service and contribute to the store’s growth.
